VARODRY is an enclosed dry screw range for industrial roughing, drying, degassing and suitable backing duties. The four model pages cover VD 65, VD 100, VD 160 and VD 200 with air cooling and three-phase power.
The C5 operating manual specifies maximum pumping speeds without gas ballast of 65, 105, 155 and 185 m³/h and an ultimate pressure of 0.01 mbar without gas ballast. Gas ballast raises the stated ultimate pressure to 0.1 mbar. Older brochures and some overview pages show different 160/200 speed figures; use the cited manual revision and confirm the proposed build with the quotation.
Choose the motor frequency and voltage, then check gas ballast, inlet and exhaust seal purge, filtration and exhaust backpressure. The VD 200 has a different standard discharge-pressure limit from the smaller models. Provide the gas mixture, water load, contaminants and duty cycle before selecting accessories.
OEM, HD/O₂ and special builds have their own configuration requirements. A standard VARODRY model listing does not imply oxygen-service, corrosive-gas or ATEX approval. Include controls, external variable-frequency drive requirements and installation clearance in the enquiry.
Compare NOVADRY for rough-vacuum duties, or TRIVAC L oil-sealed pumps where oil-sealed compression is appropriate. Size the pumping system for pressure under load, not ultimate pressure alone.
Compare values with their stated gas, frequency and configuration conditions. A blank specification means it needs confirmation. Listed equipment is subject to a quotation; inclusion here does not indicate stock.
