Oils & Greases
Oils for Vacuum Rotary Pumps work as a mechanical lubricant and are designed to exhibit low vapour pressures to achieve the best ultimate vacuum.
There are many oil types – Hydrocarbon, PFPE, synthetic and others. Silicone oils work in Diffusion Pumps to trap gas molecules in a vaporised spray and are designed to give low ultimate vacuum performance.
Vacuum Grease is used universally to provide high quality vacuum seals in many applications and temperature ranges with low outgassing characteristics. Also available are Sealing Waxes and ‘Q’ Sealing Compound.
