A pump model is only part of an equipment specification. Your quotation should make clear which version is being supplied, what is included and what needs to be provided separately.
What to confirm in the quotation
| Item | Details to check |
|---|---|
| Pump or instrument | Full model and variant, quantity, new or reconditioned condition, electrical supply, inlet/outlet and operating requirements. |
| Accessories | Whether filters, traps, oil, fittings, valves, cables, controllers and mounting components are included or quoted separately. |
| Complete systems | Pump count, receiver, regulation, controls and alarms. Confirm installation, commissioning and any site work as a separate scope where required. |
| Documentation | Relevant operating instructions, data sheets and applicable conformity documents. Specify any additional certificate requirement before ordering. |
| Calibration | Instrument or complete measuring chain, pressure points, certificate type and any required accredited scope. Adjustment and repair are separate questions. |
| Commercial details | Price, VAT treatment, delivery charge and destination, expected lead time, payment terms and the warranty applicable to the supplied item. |
Availability and delivery
A catalogue listing is not a stock reservation. Availability and lead time depend on the selected version, quantity and supplier position. Tell us your required date and delivery address when enquiring so they can be checked in the quotation. See delivery information.
Warranty and after-sales support
New equipment, reconditioned equipment and repair work may have different warranty terms. Confirm the applicable period, scope and claim route in writing before ordering. Do not assume that one manufacturer’s terms apply to another product.
For Girovac repair work, the published repair service states a six-month parts and workmanship warranty, excluding customer process-related damage. This is a repair warranty, not a blanket warranty for every catalogue item.
Returns, faults and repairs
Contact us before sending equipment back so the reason, proposed work and handling arrangements can be agreed. Tell us what the equipment has been exposed to. For a fault, include the model, order reference and symptoms.
From enquiry to order
- Send your equipment or application requirements, or build a quote shortlist.
- We clarify the specification and confirm the proposed scope, price and lead time.
- Check the quotation and applicable terms and conditions before placing your order.
This page explains what to check; it does not replace your quotation, order confirmation or applicable terms.
Make the specification clear before ordering
Tell us which items must work together and what you need included. We will use that information to prepare the quotation.
