Compare compact SCROLLVAC 3 and 3S plus with SCROLLVAC 7, 10, 15 and 18 plus dry scroll pumps.
Match the motor and process version
SCROLLVAC plus provides dry scroll pumping with model-dependent single- or three-phase options. Read pumping speed at the specified frequency and distinguish standard, H and C configurations. Continuous inlet pressure, vapour load and required maintenance affect selection. A model number is not a substitute for the phase, frequency and operating limits in its instructions.
What to check when selecting this range
Use the correct phase/frequency performance. Check continuous inlet-pressure limits, chamber volume and standard, H or C suitability.
Compact 3 plus and scientific 3S plus
Both compact models deliver 3.0 / 3.5 m³/h at 50 / 60 Hz and 0.1 mbar ultimate pressure with gas ballast closed. The 3S adds a solenoid inlet isolation valve and 10-second delayed opening; the standard 3 plus suits systems with their own isolation. Select the voltage-specific 230 V build for typical UK single-phase installations and specify the mains lead separately.
Compact-model ratings and accessories do not automatically apply to the larger SCROLLVAC models. Use each model’s instructions for continuous-duty limits and gas compatibility.
Compare the listed models
Compare values with their stated gas, frequency and configuration conditions. A blank specification means it needs confirmation. Listed equipment is subject to a quotation; inclusion here does not indicate stock.
Open the model page for its specifications and available manufacturer downloads. Match the full model, suffix and revision to the equipment being supplied. Keep installation limits and performance test conditions with the figure when comparing alternatives.
Send the process, working pressure, gas, required capacity and electrical supply. For measurement, include the range, connection, output and controller. We can confirm the model, accessories and documentation for your quotation.
