Ultimate pressure is a manufacturer test value, not a guaranteed pressure at the chamber. Pipe conductance, gas load, temperature and condition affect installed performance.

Both versions have a built-in exhaust valve. The 3S adds a fast-acting solenoid inlet valve and a relay that delays opening by 10 seconds after power is restored. The standard 3 plus has no built-in inlet valve. The manufacturer brochure lists an exhaust filter as supplied with 3S; confirm the complete supplied-equipment list in the quotation.
Request the 230 V version for UK single-phase installations. The voltage choices are separate pump builds, not a universal-voltage input. Specify the separately selected UK lead 800102V0003. Keep ventilation clear, support the pipework and follow the permitted exhaust back-pressure limits.
One turn of gas ballast gives 2.5 l/min flow and a 0.15 mbar ultimate-pressure rating. Use inlet protection and a compatible exhaust arrangement for the process. Silencer/filter accessories and service kits are selected separately unless expressly included. The pump is dry in its vacuum space, but bearings contain isolated lubricant and tip seals require maintenance. Prolonged operation at high inlet pressure can reduce bearing and tip-seal life.
The 3S inlet valve contains brass in the gas path. State the gas and chemical composition when enquiring so material compatibility can be checked.
