NEO D is Leybold’s two-stage oil-sealed rotary vane range with integrated exhaust oil-mist filtration and oil return. Compare NEO D 16, 25, 40 and 65 for laboratory and industrial roughing and backing duties.
At 50 Hz, actual pumping speeds are 16, 24, 40 and 63 m³/h respectively; the 60 Hz values are 19, 29, 48 and 76 m³/h. Nominal displacement is a separate figure. The C7 manual specifies ultimate total pressure of ≤0.008 mbar without gas ballast and ≤0.1 mbar with standard gas ballast for the stated standard configurations.
Single-phase and three-phase versions are documented for D 16/25/40. The D 65 uses a three-phase motor in the standard builds listed here. Select the lubricant and gas-ballast arrangement by full order code; mineral, synthetic and other lubricant variants are not assumed equivalent.
The D 16/25 have DN25 connections, while D 40/65 use DN40. Integrated mist filtration still requires maintenance and appropriate exhaust routing. Confirm inlet filtration, isolation, sensors and cables separately.
Compare TRIVAC L for alternative two-stage oil-sealed capacities, or ECODRY plus when a dry pumping chamber better suits the process. NEO SD 16 is a separate equipment variant and is not represented by the NEO D 16 page.
