A pump’s ultimate vacuum is only part of the specification. Pumping speed, the gases or vapours being handled, duty cycle and maintenance requirements all affect the choice. Routine maintenance starts with identifying the correct consumables. Our range covers vacuum pump oils, vacuum greases and sealing compounds, and diffusion pump fluids, with guides to the products and their uses.
Oil and fluid selection depends on the pump, its operating conditions and the manufacturer’s specification. Send the pump model and the product currently used if you need help identifying a replacement. We also supply spare parts, service kits, vacuum fittings, valves and filters.

A reconditioned vacuum pump can be a practical option when replacing existing equipment or working to a budget. We offer reconditioned pumps, including Edwards single- and two-stage models, subject to current stock.

Part numbers change and older equipment can be difficult to identify. Our specialist sourcing service helps with enquiries for vacuum equipment and components that are proving difficult to find. A clear photograph of the nameplate, the original part number and any available drawings give us a useful starting point.
Tell us what the pump will be used for, the required pressure and pumping speed, the gases or vapours involved, and how often it will run. If you are replacing a pump, send its make and model as well. We can work through any missing details with you.
Send the pump make, model and the name or specification of the oil currently used. Include any details about the process. Oils with similar descriptions are not automatically interchangeable; compatibility with the pump and application needs to be checked.
