Spares Kits
Ever since the early 1980s – when Girovac was an authorised UK Distributor for Edwards High Vacuum – we have appreciated the importance of the availability of spares kits in our business.
This applies equally to rotating machines like Rotary Vane Pumps and Mechanical Boosters and to Diffusion Pumps, Turbomolecular Pumps, Vacuum Valves, Measuring Instruments and more….
We will call the customer after we have stripped the component and inspected it. Girovac will advise price & delivery of the appropriate kit. Alternatively, if we are about to service a customer’s Vacuum Pump then we need to have a spares kit to hand before work commences. It is sometimes the case that a customer will not need to buy a standard spares kit to complete the repair of their component. At this point Girovac can easily put together a special kit comprising only the parts that are required.
Girovac’s principal supply of spares kits has always been those for oil filled Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps and here we typically offer either a seals kit containing essential seals, “”O”” rings and gaskets, or a full kit which will often include seals kit plus blades, oil filter and motor bearings.
We can supply kits for all major European Vacuum equipment manufacturers.
Our two major specialities are spares kits for MIL’S – B, S and E series, and spares kits for EDWARDS’ pumps where we can often help with kits for their old 1S..ES..ED belt driven pumps and the direct drive ED series.
