Pilot freeze drying for development work
The GVD20 is a pilot freeze dryer for product development and small-scale production. It offers up to five temperature-controlled shelves, hydraulic vial stoppering and a choice of manual or automatic controls.
The stainless-steel shelves use circulating heat-transfer fluid for heating and cooling. Up to five shelves provide a total area of 1 m², with 60 mm shelf spacing.
Choose the control arrangement
The manual version uses a touch keypad, LCD vacuum and temperature displays, and manually operated valves. Its RS232 computer application can log data and control step changes. The automatic version uses a touchscreen SCADA system to control the freeze-drying process.
