Purge, gas ballast and process suitability
Dry compression keeps sealing oil out of the pumping chamber. Bearings and gears still require the specified lubricant. Purge and gas ballast protect the pump and help with suitable vapour loads, but change the attainable pressure. Provide gas composition, condensable load, dust and operating pressure before selection.
The manual identifies the lowest rating as ultimate partial pressure. Rotor purge raises it to 0.01 mbar and gas ballast to 0.1 mbar, both ±10%. Inlet shaft-seal purge produces a different pressure again. The process protection requirements determine which operating condition is appropriate.
Power, controls and accessories
Specify the 400 V three-phase configuration for the relevant UK industrial supply. Frequency-converter and control arrangements depend on the order reference; rack-mounted “-r” versions are distinct builds. Fieldbus modules, external displays, non-return valves, silencers, inlet protection and booster adapters are selected separately unless included explicitly in the quotation. Select washdown FP or process-specific versions separately.
Installation and enquiry
Provide duty cycle, working pressure, throughput, cooling-water conditions, exhaust back pressure, footprint and available power. Ultimate pressure is a manufacturer test value, not a guarantee at the chamber. Preserve service access and observe the full cooling-water and purge requirements in the instructions.

Parts, consumables and workshop support
Send the pump model and part number when asking about a replacement. Compatibility depends on the equipment and operating conditions.
Confirm the exact version, electrical supply and connections. Ask whether oil, filters, fittings, cables or controllers are included or separately specified.
Availability, lead time and the applicable warranty are confirmed for your quotation. A catalogue listing does not reserve stock.
