Match the duty, not only the model number
Peak pumping speeds are 6.2, 11.4, 15.1 and 22 m³/h. The nXDS6i, 10i and 15i allow 200 mbar maximum continuous inlet pressure; nXDS20i is limited to 50 mbar and is optimised for constant throughput rather than cyclic duties. Recommended chamber pump-down volumes are 25, 50, 75 and 75 litres respectively, with application review for larger volumes.
Standard, C and R versions
The four listings describe standard gas-ballasted pumps. Chemically resistant C variants and R versions without gas ballast are separately selected. State gas composition and vapour load before choosing materials and accessories. Dry compression does not remove tip-seal and bearing maintenance requirements.
Controls and system integration
Integrated controllers support local operation, parallel control and RS232/RS485. Specify the UK mains cord, remote cables, inlet protection and exhaust treatment separately.
