The SCROLLVAC 10 plus is an oil-free scroll pump for laboratory vacuum, analytical equipment and suitable turbomolecular backing duties. Peak speed 10.6 m³/h (1-phase 50/60 Hz or 3-phase 60 Hz); 9.1 m³/h at 3-phase 50 Hz.

Choosing the SCROLLVAC 10 plus Dry Scroll Vacuum Pump
The SCROLLVAC 10 plus is an oil-free scroll pump for laboratory vacuum, analytical equipment and suitable turbomolecular backing duties. It delivers a peak pumping speed of 10.6 m³/h with a single-phase supply at 50/60 Hz or a three-phase supply at 60 Hz. Select the motor and gas-handling variant around the application rather than the model number alone.
The 10 plus combines a 10.6 m³/h peak speed with a 0.009 mbar ultimate pressure under the stated single-phase/60 Hz conditions. Its recommended chamber volume is 50 litres.
Pressure values above are for gas ballast position 0. Both pumping speed and ultimate pressure change for three-phase 50 Hz operation; do not use the single-phase figures for that configuration.
Choose the supply and gas-handling variant
Single-phase: 100–127 or 200–240 V AC ±10%, 50/60 Hz. For a UK 230 V installation, specify the 200–240 V setting and the 2 m 161810UK BS1363/IEC C19 mains-cable accessory. The single-phase version has an integrated frequency converter, local controls and a remote-control interface.
Three-phase: 200 V ±10% or 380–415 V +6%/−10% at 50 Hz; 200–230 V ±10% or 460 V ±10% at 60 Hz. The UK 400 V three-phase choice uses the lower 50 Hz pumping-speed figures above. Electrical connection and motor protection must match the selected variant.
Standard: adjustable gas ballast. H: a blank adapter replaces the gas-ballast control to prevent accidental opening, useful for suitable gas-recovery duties. C: a variant to assess for applications involving corrosive substances; suitability requires the actual gas composition and operating conditions. Some documented order codes are available on request only.
Duty, gas ballast and accessories
These pumps can evacuate from atmosphere, but prolonged operation above the continuous inlet-pressure limit can shorten bearing and tip-seal life. Larger chambers may be possible after review. The manual describes the range as optimised for constant throughput and not recommended for cyclic duty.
Opening gas ballast increases attainable pressure and changes vapour handling. Specify vapour load, duty cycle and exhaust conditions. Available accessories include a silencer, vibration isolators and gas-ballast adapters. Tip seals are service items. Accessories and control cables should be listed explicitly on the quotation.
Leybold operating instructions (PDF) — 300668736_002_C9, April 2026, pages 21–29, 31–41 and 48–49. Consult the full instructions for operating limits, electrical installation and maintenance.
To request a quotation for the SCROLLVAC 10 plus Dry Scroll Vacuum Pump, send chamber volume, target pressure, gas and vapour composition, throughput, pump-down time and cycle frequency, connection size, electrical supply and quantity. Include any control, exhaust-treatment and installation-space requirements. Girovac will confirm the suitable configuration, price and delivery.
Confirm the exact version, electrical supply and connections. Ask whether oil, filters, fittings, cables or controllers are included or separately specified.
Availability, lead time and the applicable warranty are confirmed for your quotation. A catalogue listing does not reserve stock.
