MIL’S EVISA E300.R: selecting the right configuration
The E300.R combines 300 m³/h nominal flow at 50 Hz with a 5.5 kW European motor. It shares a 5 litre oil capacity and 2-inch BSP connection size with the E200.R, but has different pumping performance, weight and dimensions. Similar connections alone do not establish interchangeability.
EVISA uses oil-lubricated rotary vane technology with an integrated exhaust oil-mist filter. Tell Girovac the working pressure, process gas and operating duty so the pump and supporting equipment can be checked together.
End vacuum and gas-ballast options
Standard E300.R: ≤ 3 mbar without gas ballast at 50 and 60 Hz. The E300.R HV version is listed at ≤ 0.06 mbar at 50 Hz and ≤ 0.06 mbar at 60 Hz without gas ballast. Do not apply the HV figure to a standard pump.
With gas ballast fully open, the listed end vacuum is ≤ 5 mbar for the standard version and ≤ 2 mbar for HV, at both frequencies. Gas-ballast settings affect vapour handling and the pressure achieved. Specify the gas-ballast arrangement in the quotation.
Performance curves and pump-down time
The manufacturer plots below show evacuation of a 1,000 litre vessel and pumping speed against absolute inlet pressure. Follow the original 50 or 60 Hz line and gas-ballast legend. The low-pressure curves describe HV performance; they do not give a standard E300.R pump an HV pressure rating.

At 50 Hz, the catalogue gives 171 m³/h at 1 mbar for HV duty, compared with 280 m³/h PNEUROP pumping speed. Measurements are specified to PNEUROP 6602 at 20 °C. Actual evacuation time also depends on vessel conditions, pipework, leaks and process gas load. The graphs are vacuum-performance references, not electrical power-consumption curves.
Dimensions, connections and electrical supply
The European version uses three-phase 230/400 v, 50 hz, with a 5.5 kW motor at 1,500 min⁻¹. The listed inlet is 2-inch BSP and the outlet is 2-inch BSP. Other regional versions can have different motors, voltages, connections and weights.

Check the drawing against the precise motor and pump reference being supplied. Allow access to the oil fill, drain, filters and cooling-air paths; the pump outline is not a service-clearance allowance. For a replacement, send a nameplate photograph and the existing installation dimensions.
Oil, service parts and accessories
The catalogue specifies 5 litres of MV99S 100% synthetic oil for the standard lubrication arrangement. An oxygen-service version needs its own approved lubrication and configuration; do not assume the standard oil specification applies.
The model section lists usual-maintenance kits at 3,000 hours and preventive-maintenance kits at 12,000 hours. Use the operating instructions and actual process conditions to set the service schedule, and quote the serial number when ordering a kit. Inlet filtration, liquid protection and gas-ballast options should be matched to the gas stream and installation.

Questions about this model
What is the pumping speed of the EVISA E300.R?
Nominal flow is 300 m³/h at 50 Hz and 360 m³/h at 60 Hz. PNEUROP pumping speed is 280 and 336 m³/h respectively. Use the performance at your working pressure when sizing the pump.
Is every EVISA E300.R an HV pump?
No. This listing covers standard and HV configurations. The standard version is listed at ≤ 3 mbar without gas ballast; the HV version reaches a different stated end vacuum. Specify the variant when enquiring.
Which oil does the EVISA E300.R use?
The supplied catalogue specifies MV99S 100% synthetic oil and a 5 litre charge for the standard lubrication arrangement. Confirm the exact version and do not apply this specification to oxygen service.
What should I send for a quotation?
Include the complete model and variant, working pressure, gas or vapour load, vessel volume and required cycle time. Add the electrical supply, connection details and any filters or controls. For an existing pump, include its serial number and a nameplate photo.
For a hazardous-area enquiry, use the separate EVISA ATEX range page. Standard EVISA specifications do not establish ATEX suitability.
Select Compare on up to three listings to view their specifications together. Keep frequency, version and gas-ballast conditions alongside the numbers.
Vacuum measurement and calibration questions
Which vacuum gauges could be useful with this equipment?
Can Girovac arrange calibration for the measuring instruments?
Yes. Use our vacuum gauge calibration service to specify the instrument, pressure points and certificate requirement. If your process relies on a displayed controller reading, tell us about the complete measuring chain.

Parts, consumables and workshop support
Send the pump model and part number when asking about a replacement. Compatibility depends on the equipment and operating conditions.
Confirm the exact version, electrical supply and connections. Ask whether oil, filters, fittings, cables or controllers are included or separately specified.
Availability, lead time and the applicable warranty are confirmed for your quotation. A catalogue listing does not reserve stock.
