The IONIVAC ITR 90 combines Bayard–Alpert hot-cathode ionisation and Pirani measurement in one active transmitter. It supports monitoring from atmosphere into ultrahigh vacuum, with automatic switching between measuring systems and analogue/RS232 readout. Choose the flange, local-display option and control arrangement for the installation.

Range, gas dependence and accuracy
The broad display range is not an accuracy guarantee at every pressure. The instruction sheet specifies 15% accuracy in the 1 × 10⁻⁸ to 1 × 10⁻² mbar band after stabilisation. Both measuring principles are gas-dependent; discuss other gases and changing mixtures rather than applying nitrogen/air calibration indiscriminately.
The Pirani reading controls hot-cathode operation: the sheet gives emission switch-on at 2.4 × 10⁻² mbar and switch-off at 3.2 × 10⁻² mbar. Correct interlocking helps protect the filament during pump-down and venting. Follow the manual for contamination protection and degassing conditions.

The standard ITR 90 specifications above should not be assumed to describe every ITR 90 P electrical detail. Send the complete part number for a Profibus replacement or integration enquiry. Confirm current configuration availability with Girovac.
Controller, cables and maintenance
The ITR 90 can be integrated with a compatible readout such as GRAPHIX ONE using the correct cable and configuration. Supply and cable sizing must support emission-start and degassing demand, not only steady measurement. The controller, cables and power supply are separately specified items.
A replacement sensor and an optional baffle are documented service/accessory choices. Bakeout is conditional: the sheet permits 150 °C with the electronics removed, and the catalogue describes a bakeout extension for flange heating. Do not heat the complete assembled electronics to that temperature. Share process contamination and bakeout requirements before selection.

For a IONIVAC ITR 90 quotation, send the required pressure range and units, process gas and vapours, connection, ambient and bakeout conditions, output or communication protocol, cable length and quantity. Include the existing gauge/controller part numbers, required switching functions, power supply and calibration test points. Girovac will confirm the configuration, included equipment, price and availability.
