Overview
A Pirani transducer for tracking pump-down and process pressure from atmosphere into fine vacuum. Digital and analogue interface configurations allow integration with compatible controllers and plant systems.
Selection and installation
Specify the gas and your control interface. Select the actual output version rather than assuming every connector is present. A replaceable sensor head and optional local display are available within this family.
Questions about this instrument
Will it read different gases identically?
No. Pirani measurement depends on heat transfer through the gas. State the gas or mixture so the interpretation and correction settings can be checked.
Can I request calibration with my gauge?
Yes. Tell us the operating range, required test points and certificate requirement. We will confirm the calibration option for the selected instrument before quoting. Discuss vacuum gauge calibration.
Which related instruments should I consider?
Compare cold-cathode / Pirani gauges and vacuum gauge controllers. Check the pressure reference, measurement range and output rather than selecting by connection alone.
Where could this instrument be useful in a vacuum system?
For a turbo-pumped chamber, consider the measurement requirement alongside the nEXT85D turbomolecular pump. Measure at the point that matters to the process and select the gauge for the working pressure, gas and interface. A pump’s ultimate-pressure specification is not a substitute for a chamber measurement.
