The end-vacuum rating and continuous operating limit must be read separately. The manufacturer’s current SL100.R sheet specifies 60 mbar end vacuum and 60 mbar continuous end vacuum. Size the pump at the actual working pressure, allowing for line losses and gas load.
R and RS configurations
This page covers the R pump. The separately documented RS package combines the pump with a variable-frequency-drive arrangement and has its own flow range, motor and operating limits. Do not assume that an R pump includes an inverter or that the RS frequency range applies to every R motor. Ask Girovac to confirm the exact drive and nameplate before selecting variable-speed operation.
Installation and accessories
Confirm inlet filtration, isolation, controls and the exhaust route for the process. The oil-free chamber does not eliminate gearbox oil changes or filter maintenance. Keep cooling-air paths clear and allow service access beyond the outline dimensions.
