For a packaged or central vacuum installation, list each user, its operating pressure and which users run together. Agree the receiver, controls, filtration and standby requirement as part of the quotation. Installed pump capacity alone does not establish performance at the far end of the pipework.

A Pirani vacuum transducer is a useful starting point for measuring pump-down into lower pressures. Check its measuring range, gas correction and process compatibility. Measure at the chamber or point of use when that is the pressure your process depends on. Gauge calibration can be specified around the operating range and required test points.
Use the complete model, serial number and manufacturer oil specification. Different suffixes and gear compartments can require different lubricants. See vacuum oils and greases and send the nameplate details when requesting parts.
