The Girovac GVPSV8D is a single-stage, oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pump for refrigeration, air-conditioning and laboratory applications. Its compact design and carrying handle make it a practical option where equipment needs to be moved between work areas.

With a nominal pumping capacity of 8.5 m³/h at 50 Hz and a total final pressure of 0.1 mbar absolute, the GVPSV8D provides vacuum for suitable evacuation and servicing duties. A flexible coupling connects the motor and pump, while anti-vibration mounts support installation.

Gas ballast helps manage condensable vapour during pumping. Opening it affects the pressure the pump can achieve: the stated final pressure with gas ballast is 3 mbar absolute. Include the vapour type and operating conditions in your enquiry so the arrangement can be checked for your application.

Oil, spares and maintenance

The Girovac datasheet specifies GVF70 vacuum pump oil and a 0.40 litre oil charge. Follow the operating instructions for your pump when filling and servicing. Routine attention to oil condition, inlet protection and the service schedule helps keep the equipment working reliably.
