ATEX and Ex variants must be selected against the required zone, gas group, temperature class and the manufacturer’s declaration for that exact code. DOT versions are dedicated brake-fluid configurations. Confirm those requirements with Girovac before specification.
Configuration and installation
Select the motor and lubricant from the ordering-code table. Standard B, DOT brake-fluid and hazardous-location versions have different application limits. The standard performance figures shown here must not be applied automatically to DOT or other specialist builds.
Oil and service requirements
For vapour-heavy processes, discuss gas ballast, condensate handling and exhaust filtration. Include the gas composition, duty cycle and working pressure when selecting oil, filters and accessories.
