Measurement and process compatibility
Measurement range is not an accuracy guarantee across the whole span. These gauge principles are gas dependent; retain the manufacturer’s gas correction and accuracy conditions. Protect the sensing element from unsuitable contamination and choose materials for the process. Bakeout to 150 °C requires removal of the electronics.
The nitrogen accuracy specification is less than 30% of measured value from 10⁻⁹ to 10⁻² mbar. Use a suitable rough-vacuum gauge alongside AIM200 when monitoring from atmosphere. Follow the manufacturer’s ignition and operating procedures.
Analogue, digital and controller selection
Analogue RJ45 versions and RS232/RS485 D-sub versions are distinct configurations. Connector shape, transfer function, supply and set-point option must all match the receiving controller. The listed standard analogue builds can be selected with compatible Edwards gauge controllers; confirm compatibility for the complete gauge/controller pair. Gauges, cables and controllers are separately specified.
