The Leybold LEYCON BAV manual angle valve provides bellows-sealed isolation for high-vacuum lines. Choose DN63, DN100 or DN160 ISO-K and the documented body material around gas compatibility and conductance.

Isolation and pressure limits

Open-valve pressure range is 10⁻⁸ to 4000 mbar for DN63 and 10⁻⁸ to 2000 mbar for DN100/160. The maximum pressure difference allowed while opening is a separate 1 bar limit. Observe the directional closed-valve limits in the manual. Bellows separate the mechanism from the vacuum space; the valve uses elastomer seals and is not an all-metal UHV valve.

Materials, installation and enquiry

Confirm gas compatibility, cleanliness, working and bakeout temperature, flange standard, mounting orientation and pressure difference before selection. A nominal flange size alone does not establish compatibility. Request connection hardware, controls and spares explicitly; accessories are included only where specified in the quotation.

For valve selection, send the line size, pressure range, gas or process, required fail position, actuation supply and switching duty. For replacements, include the complete valve nameplate.
