Diffusion pumping for high vacuum
The GVPDIF 14 is a diffusion pump for high-vacuum systems, used with a suitable backing pump. Girovac can help with pump selection, working fluid and servicing.
The pumping speed is 5,500 l/s. The vacuum achieved in an installation also depends on the chamber, gas load, seals and supporting equipment.
Backing pump and working fluid
A diffusion pump needs a backing pump to remove gas from its exhaust side. Tell us about your chamber and process so we can discuss backing capacity, cooling and the connections as one system.
The correct fluid is part of that choice. Explore diffusion pump fluids and send us the existing fluid grade if you are replacing a charge. We can also help with vacuum measurement and pump servicing.
