The Leybold DN10 power-failure venting valve admits gas when electrical power is removed. It suits vacuum installations requiring a defined de-energised venting function rather than a normally closed isolation valve.

Define the power-failure response

This valve opens when de-energised. Check that this behaviour is appropriate for the chamber and process before specifying it. It does not provide the combined pump isolation and venting function of SECUVAC. Confirm the vent gas, venting rate and electrical supply in the enquiry.

Materials, installation and enquiry

Confirm gas compatibility, cleanliness, working and bakeout temperature, flange standard, mounting orientation and pressure difference before selection. A nominal flange size alone does not establish compatibility. Request connection hardware, controls and spares explicitly; accessories are included only where specified in the quotation.

For valve selection, send the line size, pressure range, gas or process, required fail position, actuation supply and switching duty. For replacements, include the complete valve nameplate.
